Award winners 2020
Geoverbund ABC/J Young Academics Award
During the virtual ABC/J Young Academic Award Ceremony on November 13, 2020, Dr. Anne Klosterhalfen (Forschungszentrum Jülich) was awarded first prize for her research on Land-Atmosphere Exchange of Energy and Mass in Terrestrial Ecosystems.
Also awarded first prize was Dr. Philipp Marr (Bonn University) for his dissertation on New aspects of deglaciation in southern Norway - Climate variability derived from surface exposure ages of Late Quaternary and Holocene landforms.
The 3rd prize was awarded to Dr. Kai Jäger from the Bonn Institute for Geosciences (Department of Paleontology) for his dissertation on Occlusion and Function of Triconodont Dentitions.
The Geoverbund ABC/J Young Academics Award honours outstanding dissertations and research work carried out at the member institutes of the Geoverbund ABC/J. We congratulate the awardees!
